Meet The Team
Jordan Gandy
Lead Pastor
Pastor Jordan is the founding pastor of Market Common Community Church and continues to serve faithfully as our Lead Pastor. With a heart for both the local church and the broader community, he also serves as a chaplain for the YMCA and owns a church staffing firm that partners with congregations across the country to help them find the right leaders for their ministries. Jordan holds two Master's degrees, a Doctor of Ministry and is currently pursuing his Ph.D.
Jordan has served in full-time ministry for over 15 years. He began a personal relationship with Jesus at the early age of nine. He and his wife, Lacie, are proud parents to four wonderful children—Madelyn, Maddox, Carson, and Emily. Together, they are committed to serving God, loving people, and investing in the life and mission of the church.
Dickie Cullum
Assistant Pastor (Part-time)
Dickie has served as pastor of three churches in South Carolina over his 38 year career. He retired from First Baptist Church in Dillon, South Carolina in 2018 after serving as their Senior Pastor for over 23 years. He and his wife Dianne moved to Myrtle Beach in the fall of that year and have been a part of Market Common Community Church since its beginning. He has served as our assistant pastor since the summer of 2019.
He oversees our LIFE group ministry, periodically preaches, and assists Pastor Jordan with pastoral care. He also serves as one of the Elders of the church.
Dickie earned his bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.
He and Dianne are the proud parents of Matt and Allison and have six grandchildren.
Will Johnson
Director of Music Ministry
Will has been serving at Market Common Community Church for almost four years, bringing a deep passion for worship and a heart for leading others into the presence of God. He plays a vital role as the leader of our worship team, using his gifts in guitar and vocals to help create meaningful and Spirit-led worship experiences.
Will comes from a talented family of musicians and has been surrounded by music from an early age. That foundation has shaped his love for worship and his desire to use music as a way to connect people to the heart of God.
Whether during a Sunday morning service or a quiet moment of reflection, Will’s goal is to help create an atmosphere where people can genuinely encounter God and grow in their faith.
Lacie Gandy
Director of Children's Ministry
Lacie has been faithfully serving alongside her husband, Jordan, in ministry for over a decade, with experience in various churches across South Carolina. She brings warmth, creativity, and a deep love for children into her role as Director of Children's Ministry at Market Common Community Church.
A graduate of Francis Marion University, Lacie holds a degree in Early Childhood Education. She spent several years teaching in the public school system before stepping into motherhood.
Lacie and Jordan are proud parents to Madelyn, Maddox, Carson, and Emily—and are grateful to be part of all that God is doing in and through our church community.
Melissa Sanders
Church Administrator
Melissa serves as our dedicated church administrator. Melissa graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina, earning a double major in Management and Marketing, along with a minor in Psychology.
She brings a strong background in property management and a heart for service to everything she does. Melissa made history as the youngest person to serve as Vice President of Student Auxiliaries on the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Auxiliary board—a testament to her leadership and commitment to making a difference.
Melissa has called Myrtle Beach home for the past 15 years, where she lives with her husband of 29 years, Craig, and their three beloved fur-babies. Her warmth, organizational talents, and love for people are a true blessing to our church family.
Lindsay showmaker
Ministry Coordinator
With over 15 years of experience in event management and project coordination, Lindsay brings a passion for logistics and a heart for service to our team. Throughout her career, she has successfully executed hundreds of events, brand partnerships, and marketing campaigns—expertise she now applies to her role as Ministry Coordinator at Market Common Community Church, serving and strengthening our church community.
Lindsay is a devoted wife to her high school sweetheart, Jeff, a homeschooling mom of three, and the founder of a luxury bounce house business. Whether managing large-scale projects or everyday family life, she thrives on creating meaningful and memorable experiences.
Lindsay gave her life to Jesus at age 12 during The Kry concert in Philadelphia, and her faith remains her foundation. In her downtime, Lindsay enjoys recharging by the ocean with an iced latte in hand or hanging at home with her family.
