Life Groups

We have various groups in locations throughout Myrtle Beach that meet weekly in the Spring and the Fall. These groups are led by members of our congregation and meet in homes, restaurants and our activity building. All of the groups focus on Bible Study, building relationships and spiritual growth.


Women’s Ministry - Women’s Life Ministry (WLM)

Meets monthly, often in the Activities Building. You can expect worship music, a devotional, and a service project during the event. The group also hosts fun events including a Ladies Tea, a Women’s Conference, and a Ladies Retreat.

Men’s Ministry - Men Of God

Meets for breakfast at 8:30 AM on the first Saturday of each month. All men are welcome! Please call the men's ministry leader, Bill Macfarlane, at 248-705-3486 for any questions. 

Forever Young Senior Ministry 

This group is focused on having FUN! It is geared toward our Senior Adults that are 55 and up.

Children & Young

Adult Groups

Coastal Kids-  A dynamic, Christ-centered ministry for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Each Sunday, children experience an engaging, age-appropriate church service where they worship, hear Bible stories, and build friendships—all in a fun and safe environment. Throughout the year, we also host special events—from game nights to seasonal celebrations—that give kids a chance to build community and have a blast, all while deepening their understanding of God’s Word.

Children's Ministry volunteer form

Tidal Wave - This ministry is specifically designed for students in 6th -12th grade. Our passion is to help students be authentic followers of Christ by connecting with other students, by growing in Christ through Bible Study, and by sharing the name of Jesus to others. This group meets on Sundays at 6:00 pm.

Surge - This ministry is geared towards our college students and young adults. Surge meets for fellowship, food, games, and Bible Study. 


Ministry Teams

CARE Team - Our Care Team meets every Monday. This team focuses on showing love to members of our congregation and community that are sick, homebound or going through a difficult season in life.


Carpenter’s Hands - This team assists members of our congregation and the local community who have needs related to housing maintenance, repairs or upkeep but do not have the financial resources and/or the ability to make the repairs.


Missions/Outreach Ministry – This team looks to fulfill the Great Commission locally, nationally, and internationally. This team meets once a month and has been greatly supported by MCCC. The generosity of the church has allowed this team to fill and distribute “Blessing Bags,” donate money to Coastline Women’s Center and Fostering Hope, donate food to local food pantries, donate boxes to Samaritan’s Purse and reach people in our local community by participating in events like Poochamania.


Hospitality Team - The purpose of this team is to ensure that the details of planned events like food, decorations and event setup and cleanup are taken care of. They also make sure that church members receive a meal in the event of a death. Some of their most recent successful events includes 6-year Anniversary and Game Night.


Finance Team - The purpose of the Finance Team is to plan and oversee the church budget and the management of the church resources.
